Hagen/Misano, 30.05.2014. EUROPART, the leading European distributors for commercial vehicle parts and workshop requirements has been very successful at the truck racing season opener from 24 to 25/5/2014 in Misano and showed a significant presence on the Italian racing circuit.
The EUROPART private brand discs and pads, which were applied by the French team EUROPART Racing / Team 14 for this season, withstood the extreme conditions of the first race weekend excellently. Team boss Dominique Kolow: „From 1981, in other words, since I have been in the truck racing business, we have never had such flawless discs as these from EUROPART. Even after three races they showed no cracks or other discrepancies. It is quite clear that we will use the EUROPART wear parts now also in the other races! „
To Misano itself came 180 customers, invited by National Manager Francesco Marangio and his distributor Alberto Tonti. Francesco Marangio directs the Italian subsidiary with the headquarters in Milan now for a year and has in the meantime already built a crucial network with its partners in Cesena, Florence, Sicily and Naples through which the EUROPART customers are served nationwide.
Also in terms of the motorsport, especially the EUROPART sponsored German Reinert Racing Team scored excellent results. On Saturday MAN pilot Rene Reinert took second place in the second race and on Sunday the third place in the fourth round; in the team classification the Reinert Racing Team, which collaborates with the team of European Champion Jochen Hahn, even scored the first place.
