Retrofitting made easy: ZENEC’s license plate camera ZE-RVC55LP

The ZE-RVC55LP from ZENEC is an easy to install rear-view camera that is simply mounted on the license plate frame.

ZENEC ZE-RVC55LP: license plate camera

Can it be so easy to retrofit a rear-view camera? With the ZE-RVC55LP the Swiss multimedia specialist ZENEC now has a flexible license plate camera on the market that can be mounted with just a few steps to the existing license plate frame. The high resolution ZE-RVC55LP can therefore be used as a rear-view or as a front camera.
Equipped with a CMOS sensor that is very sensitive to light, the universal ZE-RVC55LP delivers a detailed, high contrast image, even in poor light conditions and during twilight. For the image output you can choose between a normal or a mirror image. The large horizontal 140° angle of view ensures an excellent overview of what is going on behind the vehicle.
High quality materials and a robust construction guarantee high weather resistance, and hence a long life. Thanks to the special camera housing – built to Protection Class IP69K, the highest standard for water and moisture protection – the ZE-RVC55LP is optimally protected against spray and dust. The wide working temperature range from -30° C to +75° C means the view to the rear is clear at all times, even under extreme temperature and weather conditions.
ZENEC’s new rear-view camera is suitable for all current EU and Swiss plastic license plate frames and, due to the compact construction, can be installed quickly and inconspicuously. A 3-piece system cable (2 x 0.7 m plus 1 x 7 m separable lengths) is also part of the kit.
The ZE-RVC55LP can be connected to all 2-DIN A/V devices (multimedia systems, naviceivers, monitors) that have a rear-view camera input.

The brand Zenec stands for pure in-car multimedia. Moniceivers, naviceivers, roof mount and universal monitors sum to a well rounded portfolio of in-car products. Added to that are accessory components like rear view cameras and headphones. All Zenec devices are perfectly compatible with one another.
The Zenec multimedia range is perceived to follow the edge of technology, but also to stand out with an exceptional price/performance value. Yet, quality before quantity is the other important maxim given, Zenec is strictly adhering to.
In 2008, Zenec brought the first E>GO model onto the market, thereby immediately establishing a completely new category of device: the vehicle-specific naviceiver. E>GOs are a perfect fit – visually and technically – in the respective target vehicle, without additional bezels, adapters and hours of installation work. With the new line up 2018 there are E>GOs to fit into over 60 models of vehicle.

ZENEC ZE-RVSC200: Twin Lens Rear-view Camera for Motorhomes

Maneuvering and parking made easy – ZENEC’s new rear-view camera for recreational vehicles is easy to fit and flexible in use.

ZENEC ZE-RVSC200: Twin Lens Rear-view Camera for Motorhomes

ZENEC ZE-RVSC200: rear-view camera for motorhomes

Multimedia specialist ZENEC has added a new rear-view camera to its range of accessories. The ZE-RVSC200 has been specially developed for use in partially and fully integrated motorhomes. The practical features make this a convincing camera unit.
This very compact ZE-RVSC200 is designed as a twin lens model having two camera modules with different angles of view. In the upper part of the camera housing is Cam1 (45° horizontal angle of view), which primarily does the job of an interior rear view mirror. The lower camera lens Cam2 (100° horizontal angle of view is mainly intended for backing up. It records what is to the rear of the motorhome within a range of up to 5 meters, which can be individually set. Cam2 is supported by the built-in microphone and the IR-LED night illumination system.
ZENEC’s rear-view camera is equipped with sensitive CMOS sensors. Impressive for their low noise, they produce very high-contrast images. The high resolution – 680 x 512 pixels – and high light sensitivity of 0.5 lux enable an optimum image to be obtained even in poor light conditions. Cam2 has powerful night vision IR-LEDs with dynamic LDR brightness control. The area to the rear of the motorhome is illuminated well by the LEDs, for excellent visibility of objects in the dark.
Being a plastic injection molding, the housing of the ZE-RVSC200 is corrosion resistant. Together with the clever construction in accordance with protection rating IP69K, the use of high quality materials ensures high resistance to weather and a long service life.
Equipped with a fast-mount click attachment and a 3-part separable system cable with 17-meter main cable length, ZENEC’s rear-view camera offers a very flexible mounting arrangement. The ZE-RVSC200 set also comes with two special adapter cables. Motorhomes with factory routed DOMETIC/WAECO main system cable can be interfaced using the provided adaptors – avoiding the need to lay a new main cable.
The ZE-RVSC200 is compatible with all monitors and 2-DIN moniceivers and naviceivers having two camera inputs (RCA); devices with only one camera input will additionally need an optional camera switch.

Park Safely with ZENEC’s Wide Angle Camera ZE-RVC85WA

ZENEC is expanding its accessory range with a high quality wide angle front/rear view camera. Thanks to its wide horizontal 190° field of view perfect visibility to the rear of the vehicle is assured.

Front / rear view camera ZE-RVC85WA

The area to the rear of the vehicle is a considerable safety risk when parking and maneuvering. One can easily fail to see persons or obstacles – thereby creating hazardous situations. With the new ZE-RVC85WA, ZENEC now has a super wide angle camera in its product range that offers an enormous horizontal field of view of 190°. This therefore ensures not only an optimal view of the situation to the rear of the vehicle, but also to the sides as well. Parking at places where it is difficult to see is made considerably easier by using the ZE-RVC85W.
The new ZENEC rear view cam comes with a sensor sporting the latest CMOS technology, ensuring a detailed, high contrast image – even during twilight. To obtain a plane representation, the camera image has been optically rectified. Disturbing fish eye distortions are therefore a thing of the past.
As the image output of the ZE-RVC85WA can be normal or mirrored, the model is suitable for use as a front or rear view camera. Included in the kit are two housing adapters that allow simpler installation. A 3-part system cable comprising 2 x 0.7 m and 1 x 7 m long separable sections provides the ZE-RVC85WA with a flexible installation arrangement.
High quality materials and a robust construction guarantee high weather resistance, and a long life. The ZE-RVC85WA conforms to protection class IP69K, the highest standard for protection against contact, dust, water, and moisture. Thanks to the wide working temperature range from -30° C to +75° C the view to the rear is clear at all times, even under extreme temperature and weather conditions.
The ZENEC wide angle cam ZE-RVC85WA has been developed for universal use, and can be retrofitted into many vehicles thanks to its compact form. It is the perfect addition for any in-car moniceiver, naviceiver, or monitor. On engaging reverse gear the camera switches on, and is controlled from the head unit. The ZE-RVC85WA is compatible with a large selection of 2-DIN A/V device models on the aftermarket, including the ZENEC 2-DIN infotainers and navitainers.

The brand Zenec stands for pure in-car multimedia. Moniceivers, naviceivers, roof mount and universal monitors sum to a well rounded portfolio of in-car products. Added to that are accessory components like DVB-T/DAB+-tuners, rear view cameras and headphones. All Zenec devices are perfectly compatible with one another.
The Zenec multimedia range is perceived to follow the edge of technology, but also to stand out with an exceptional price/performance value. Yet, quality before quantity is the other important maxim given, Zenec is strictly adhering to.

With the new line up 2013/2014 there are E>GOs to fit into over 60 models of vehicle.
Few car media brands have ever started out as successfully as Zenec. Today, Zenec has established itself as undisputed market leader for multimedia navigation and spots – according to the Association for Consumer Research (Gfk) – in the German speaking territories a market share in excess of 35%.

Zenec EL Rear View Cameras – Easy to Install

An easy to retrofit rear view camera? With the new EL models, the multimedia and navigation specialist Zenec now has vehicle-specific wide-angle cameras that are easy to install and offer best picture quality.

Zenec EL Rear View Cameras - Easy to Install

Zenec’s new rear view cameras

A rear view camera can be so easy to retrofit: with the new vehicle-specific EL models, the multimedia and navigation specialist Zenec (http://www.Zenec.com/) now has a dozen very high quality cameras in its product range that can be installed in the car in no time time at all. The compact wide-angle cameras from the EL-line replace the factory-built module for license plate lighting – the assembly is therefore time-saving and simple: remove license plate light, install camera, run cable to the control unit, ready. The separable 3-part interface wire harness of 5.0 m length is fitted with waterproof connectors and facilitates the wire routing.
Zenec“s EL-cameras, developed for a variety of vehicles from VW, Skoda, Audi, Hyundai, Mercedes, Citroen, Peugeot, Nissan, Opel and Smart, integrate unobtrusively so that the original vehicle appearance is maintained. All models use the same lamps for license plate illumination as the target vehicle, depending on the car model either a light bulb or LEDs.
For the cameras of the EL line only the best components are used: these include high-end CMOS sensors that can detect even in badly-lit situations due to their high sensitivity. Due to the large horizontal field angle of 120°, even objects that are very close and/or are located at a shallow angle to the car are clearly shown. Parking and maneuvering are made even easier with distance guide lines that are integrated in the image.
High quality materials and robust construction guarantee high weather resistance and therefore a long service life. Thanks to the special camera housing – built according to protection class IP69K, the highest standard for contact, foreign bodies, water and moisture protection – all Zenec cameras are optimally protected against water and dust. Because of the broad operating temperature range from -20° C to +75° C, there is always a clear rear view – even under extreme temperature and weather conditions.
EL rear view cameras can be connected to any moniceiver, naviceiver or monitor with CVBS RCA video input. Naturally they can also be connected to Zenec“s multimedia navigations, including the vehicle-specific E>GO models.
