Germs: keep out!
Cheese production, for example, requires an experienced hand. The „good“ microorganisms require perfect conditions. Otherwise, they will not be able to do their job and help the cheese ripen. At the same time, contaminants must be prevented from gaining a foothold. With a hygiene-compatible facility, cheese producers can easily master these challenges. Solvaro manufactures ageing racks for Studer Maschinenbau AG, a particularly high quality supplier to the cheese industry. The ageing racks have an Rv-5-8 perforation, which allows the excess liquid to drain while exposing the cheese to enough air to allow the microorganisms to do their work. The ageing racks have a diameter of 854 cm and are made of 1.4301 stainless steel, which provides ideal hygiene properties and prevents the build-up of germs. And there is no risk of rust.
Flexible and quick in small quantities
The production of cheese – and many other foods – requires highly specialised machines and facilities that are custom-engineered for the production process. As a logical consequence, companies need small quantities, and quick turnarounds are common. Creativity is as important as know-how when developing components like these.
