Plate component supplier Solvaro has been producing stainless steel inner tubs for Swiss washing machine manufacturer Gebrüder Wyss AG for over twenty years. Thanks to their above-average service lives, WYSS MIRELLA machines are particularly popular in the fields of industry and gastronomy, as well as in apartment buildings. In order to ensure that the drum continues to run smoothly even after ceaseless agitation, the inner tubs supplied by Solvaro are produced with the highest degree of precision.
Washing machines last longer if the quality is right.
Peter Wyss knows exactly what makes a high-quality washing machine. Often in constant use, it needs to be durable, but also sensitive enough to ensure the gentle cleaning of delicate fabrics. He believes that the long-term collaboration with Solvaro is the best proof of the impressive quality of both the inner tubs and his machines. Solvaro meets his requirements by using a special tool developed in-house to punch the holes in the 0.8 mm-thick stainless steel strip. This achieves a flared hole that ensures there are no burrs on the inside. Furthermore, the fine perforation prevents the throughput of too much water, which makes a contribution to consumption efficiency. Cut-outs are also punched for the catch between the individual groups of holes. Wyss AG then assembles the pieces and balances the drum itself.

The product portfolio offered by Wyss AG has evolved considerably over the years. New markets have been penetrated, such as Africa, where repair options are limited. Thanks to the long service life of its machines and simple controllers, this means that the Swiss company scores particularly highly here. Solvaro not only supplies a variety of inner tubs in a range of widths, but also components for dryers. Both companies hold their fruitful collaboration in high esteem.
