by the European Parking Association(EPA) in
December 2012.

The ParkCenter Kö , Stresemannstraße 8,
at the centre of Düsseldorf/Germany, was presented
with the European Standard Parking Award (ESPA) by the European Parking Association
(EPA) in December 2012. The award underlines, in particular, the parking
convenience, the high level security and maximum customer service provided by the
ParkCenter Kö. Along with Hagemann, the owner family,
Managing Director Simon Heyer was highly pleased at receiving this international accolade:
„The prize demonstrates just how worthwhile regular modernisation and improvements
can be even on a multi-storey car park that has existed as a parking garage right at the
centre of Düsseldorf since 1954″. The high number of points awarded against the test criterion,
for example for our 2,5 m wide parking bays, clearly shows that we are able to more
than hold our own when compared with a good many newly built facilities. Investment in
new lighting systems, featuring LED tubes as well as state-of-the-art video monitoring, are
part and parcel of the whole complex. Security at the ParkCenter Kö enjoys top
priority. The test criteria were awarded significantly more points by the EPA than actually
required. Says Managing Director Simon Heyer: „The European Award which
we have received from the EPA shows that a privately operated multi-storey car park
such as the ParkCenter Kö is able to compete with the other big players in the market
at a very high level“.
