Industrial routers and INSYS Connectivity Service
Car parks with electric vehicle charging stations have become a common sight. Many chains and department stores have recognised the trend towards electric vehicles and provide their customers with parking spaces that feature e-charging stations for refuelling.
For billing purposes, these must enable centralised monitoring of power consumption. Additionally, a technical solution for remote-controlling the charging stations is required. Users do not any longer need to create or manage safety certificates that are usually required for the use of VPN tunnels, which saves time. Industrial routers from INSYS icom are pre-configured for a quick set-up with the INSYS Connectivity Service. The system then autonomously sets all required configurations.
For use of devices from third-party manufacturers, all required configuration data and certificates are available for download.
