EuroMold is the world’s leading trade fair for Moldmaking and Tooling, Design and Application Development and will once again take place in Frankfurt am Main in 2013. Event organizers DEMAT GmbH, who are head quartered in Frankfurt am Main, are one of the most prominent exhibition organizers in Germany and have already made some changes to the traditional trade fair in the run-up to the 20th EuroMold. „EuroMold has been given a new, modern logo, a revised website and professional social media profiles among other things. As regards content we have also extended our range of themes and therefore the view of the entire production chain from design to prototyping to series production with new, innovative facets“, explains
Dr.-Ing. Eberhard Döring, Managing Director of DEMAT.
Since 1994, DEMAT has taken the EuroMold trade fair concept step-by-step to five continents. In 2013, DEMAT made appearances in the United States, Japan, China, India, Russia, South Africa and for the first time Egypt, as an organiser or co-organiser of trade fairs for Moldmaking and Tooling, Design and Application Development.

Special Shows & Theme Parks: With the new special themes of hybrid technology, hydroforming and lightweight construction, EuroMold expands the range of exhibitors and experts. For almost all manufacturing companies, energy efficiency and sustainability have long been the most important issues of our time. From the automotive industry to aircraft construction, packaging and construction industries, medical technology, household appliances, up to the telecommunications industry: All over the world solutions are sought to reduce weight, conserve energy and provide sustainability. Other special EuroMold themes this year are: rotation moulding, turning and milling, engineering services, design and engineering, jewellery industry, raw materials, simulation and virtual reality.

Partner country Italy: With Italy as the partner country, EuroMold honours the importance of Italian companies in the areas of Moldmaking and Tooling, Design and Application Development. „Each year Italy has been a major exhibiting country and has defined EuroMold, particularly in the areas of tool making and the supply industry,“ explains Döring. In 2012, Italy was already the third largest country at the trade fair with 38 exhibitors. In 2013 more than 50 Italian exhibitors are expected.
The event organiser is also expecting representatives from the Italian Consulate, the Italian Foreign Trade Institute ICE and the Italian Tourist Board ENIT. Italian companies will play an important part in two other events: the Jewellery Forum and the Dental Forum. Italian companies are among the world’s best in the themes of jewellery and dental production, so exhibitors and visitors can look forward to high quality products and plenty of innovations. Allessandro Loggi, Sales Manager at Progold S. p. A. and one of the participants at the EuroMold Jewellery Forum 2012, said expectantly: „EuroMold 2012 has shown that it is the perfect platform for SLM technology, which is important for the jewellery industry. 3D technology is the future and the heart of SLM-technology.“

20th Anniversary of EuroMold: Visitors to EuroMold traditionally come from all industrial sectors, ranging from designer to development engineers, constructing engineers, up to production experts. „Compared to recent years, increasing optimism is spreading again in 2013“, said Döring, Managing Director of DEMAT. „We are confident that with the 20th anniversary we will experience a slight increase in exhibitors and visitors compared to the previous year – and can still offer the same high quality of exhibitors, visitors and themes, which in our experience, is much more important for the participants.“
