World Travel Market 2013: ANIMOD has high expectations of its participation in London trade fair

Cologne. – Cologne’s ANIMOD GmbH will be participating in the 2013 World Travel Market (WTM) fair with great expectations. The specialist in the online marketing of travel and hotel vouchers believes that there is tremendous potential for growth in international operations, particularly within the English-speaking world.

As current surveys of the hotel industry indicate, the voucher business has long been a fixed component of hotel marketing, and its popularity among consumers is high.“

The company, which was founded in 2001, is justifiably regarded as one of the pioneers on this rapidly growing segment of the market and has built up a strong competitive position for itself over the past 12 years. With around 800 partner hotels in 26 countries at present ANIMOD is among the leading service providers in the German-speaking world, and arranged more than 135,000 vouchers last year alone. The online-based company enables customers to purchase hotel package deals at favourable prices – particularly in the four-star and five-star segment in Germany, Europe and the USA.

By setting up a constantly growing domestic and international sales network with numerous cooperation partners ANIMOD GmbH now employs a staff of 60 worldwide and generated turnover of EUR16 million last year. At around 7,500 customers a day access the services provided by the hotel voucher specialist’s online shop.

In addition to Germany and Europe ANIMOD has also, since 2011, been offering its services on the US market through two subsidiaries. In addition the company is constantly expanding its service portfolio and has recently been able to add Istanbul, Las Vegas, Lisbon and Amsterdam to its list of destinations.

ANIMOD will be represented at WTM London from 4 to 7 November 2013, where Harald Hielscher and head of hotel acquisition Bernd Holtmann will be welcoming international trade visitors at stand EM 525.
