A sine wave output allows connecting load close to maximum UPS output, while UPS with modulated wave requires safety buffer to prevent overload while switching to battery mode.
Users often match their rated power demand exactly with limit of UPS, but they are not taking in consideration that while working on modulated wave their equipment may require even 20% more power, which often leads to overload or tripping the breaker.
PowerWalker offers two competing series of line-interactive models with sine wave output.
