On May 19 and 20, 2026, the NCC Ost at Messe Nuremberg welcomed over 800 professionals and executives from Technical Documentation, Service, IT, and Digitalization for the first time ever, setting a new record for the conference series. With around 80 presentations, 94 speakers, and an impressive partner exhibition, the event delivered two days of hands-on practice, strategic insights, and cross-industry networking.
The program of Quanos Connect 2026 covered a wide range, bringing together strategic keynotes, practical customer case studies, and entertaining formats. CEO Nikolaus Scholz and CPO Jan Oevermann used their joint keynote to give the industry a clear view of the road ahead. They outlined the key challenges facing industrial companies today and showed how Quanos is responding: The cloud as the foundation for continuous innovation, AI as an integral part of every product rather than an add-on or premium feature, plusmeta as the AI backbone for reliable data quality, and ST4 Cloud with a new generation of automation. The conclusion was the InfoTwin, which is now part of the new Quanos IQ Platform: a scalable environment that allows companies to start where the need is greatest and grow the platform alongside their business.
What makes Quanos Connect special is its consistent focus on real-world use cases. Industry customers shared concrete, relatable accounts of how they are transforming their information and service processes in practice. That is exactly why people come to Quanos Connect: not to talk about possibilities, but to see what already works.
Further highlights were presented by Fabienne Rothenberg, Vice President Quanos AI Hub, who demonstrated how Quanos consistently focuses AI on measurable value in real-world processes. One of the most entertaining moments of the program was the format „The Machine and I“, which charmingly illustrated what happens when machines suddenly find their own voice.
An emotional highlight of the event was the keynote by Paul Johannes Baumgartner. Guided by the question of what holds us back from responding boldly to change, he showed how inner strength is not an innate trait but a skill that can be consciously developed. Through five key factors, Baumgartner illustrated how uncertainty can be seen not as a threat but as a springboard. It“s a message that resonates deeply at a time of profound transformation in industry.
Several presentations drew particular attention to the repositioning of Quanos InfoTwin. Reimagined as a platform on which service-relevant applications work together in an integrated way, it enables companies to build and connect digital services with flexibility. The technological foundation is provided by the new Quanos IQ Platform: modular, cloud-native, and AI-powered, with a shared data basis for documentation, spare parts information, and service data across the entire machine life cycle.
„With over 800 attendees, Quanos Connect 2026 has set a new benchmark. This is no coincidence but a clear signal: the industry recognizes that connected information processes are no longer a nice-to-have but a decisive competitive factor. With the new IQ Platform, we are creating the technological foundation our customers need to actively shape this transformation. That is what Quanos stands for, and that is exactly what this conference has once again confirmed.“
